From a computer shop to a global audience.
I'm a Sri Lankan online entrepreneur and digital marketer, and the founder of Ceylon I Works.
I grew up without a computer at home and learned everything I could on the job at a computer shop in Polgahawela.
In 2012 I earned my first online income on Microworkers and Fiverr. My first gig took six months to get an order. When orders started coming in, I used my Rs. 30,000 savings to buy a laptop on installments and went full time online.
The years that followed were about learning. With the Online Entrepreneurs Club as a big source of knowledge, I studied digital marketing and tried YouTube, eBay dropshipping and cryptocurrency.
YouTube is where it clicked. Today I run a faceless YouTube automation business through Ceylon I Works, earning through several income streams, and I share what I've learned with young creators across Sri Lanka.
